Request a background check from potential housemates. You can take a background check yourself as a way to show your commitment to homesharing.

HomeShare Oregon participants receive complimentary background checks through our technology partner, Homeshare Online. This offer is available within three months of setting up your profile.

When you select your compatible housemate, use a homeshare agreement template to document all relevant details that will regulate your homesharing rules. This is the legal document that frames the rules and guidelines for homesharing.
